FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
General Information
How long is the day cruise?
Our day cruises are approx. 8 hours, departing the Marina at 8am and returning at approx. 4pm.
Is there a maximum number of passengers?
We keep our cruises intimate with a maximum of 12 passengers.
How early do I need to arrive?
We ask our guests to be at the meeting point no later than 30 mins before the scheduled departure. This ensures departure isn’t delayed for everyone. If you haven’t arrived 25 mins prior to departure, we cannot guarantee access will be available to the vessel and your tickets will be forfeited.
Where does the cruise depart from?
We depart from Mackay Marina.

Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, our cruises often sell out so we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Is the private charter price all inclusive?
Yes, our private charters are all inclusive (except alcohol) for 1 to 12 guests. The price is a total price, not per person.
Food & Drinks
What food is included in a day cruise?
Guests can enjoy a carefully selected range of freshly prepared morning tea, afternoon tea and lunches.
Are drinks included?
Alcoholic drinks are not included but are available for purchase from our fully licensed bar.
Can I bring my own drinks?
No, BYO is not available as we have a fully licenced bar on board with very reasonably priced drinks.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
We have a set menu for our cruise menu however we welcome our guests to bring along their own snacks if they have dietary concerns. We do need to know about any food allergies so we can ensure there is no risk of any food being contaminated by allergens.
What drinks are stocked in the bar?
We stock a limited range of alcoholic beverages included a basic range of spirits and mixers, a small selection of beers, wines and ciders.

What should I bring?
We recommend bringing sun smart swimming clothing, a beach towel. reef safe sunscreen, a change of clothes, hat and sunglasses, a camera or phone and a card for drinks purchases.
We are a barefoot vessel though so please keep in mind we’ll ask you to pop your shoes off on boarding.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A large percentage of our vessel is undercover so light rain won’t impact our cruise too much, however, if the rain is heavier, or the wind speeds are too high, we’ll cancel the cruise and offer a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations with less than 7 days notice, incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are non-refundable.
Should we have to cancel for any reason, you’ll be able to reschedule or get a full refund.
Is the trip suitable for children?
Absolutely, this trip is suitable for all ages.
Is the boat wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, at this time, our boat is not wheelchair accessible. We are investigating options but currently do not have any suitable access.
Is there a toilet or shower on board?
Yes we have a clean and comfortable rest room available for guest use. We have hot showers available for guests to freshen up after a swim.
