FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
General Information
How long is an overnight charter?
Generally we offer a 2 day/3 night charter, departing the Marina at 8am on the first day and returning at approx. 3pm on the last day.
Is there a maximum number of overnight passengers?
We keep our cruises intimate with a maximum of 6 passengers. We can comfortably accommodate 4 guests in our Queen and Double cabins.
How early do I need to arrive?
We ask our guests to be at the meeting point no later than 30 mins before the scheduled departure for check in and briefing.
Where does the cruise depart from?
We depart from Mackay Marina.

Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, our cruises often sell out so we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Is the private charter price all inclusive?
Yes, our private charters are all inclusive (except alcohol) for 1 to 4 guests. The price is a total price, not per person.
Food & Drinks
What food is included in an overnight charter?
Guests enjoy freshly prepared meals while on charter including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Meal upgrades available on request.
Are drinks included?
Alcoholic drinks are not included but are available for purchase from our fully licensed bar.
Can I bring my own drinks?
No, BYO is not available as we have a fully licenced bar on board with very reasonably priced drinks.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
We may be able to accommodate specific dietary concerns for an additional fee. We do need to know about any food allergies so we can ensure there is no risk of any food being contaminated by allergens.
What drinks are stocked in the bar?
We stock a small range of alcoholic beverages included a basic range of spirits and mixers, a small selection of beers, wines and ciders. Please contact us if you have a specific request.
Other
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing sun smart swimming clothing, a beach towel. reef safe sunscreen, enough changes of clothes for the duration of your charter, your toiletries, hat and sunglasses, a camera or phone and a card for drinks purchases.
We are a barefoot vessel though so please keep in mind we’ll ask you to pop your shoes off on boarding.
What happens if the weather is bad?
A large percentage of our vessel is undercover so light rain won’t impact our charter too much, however if wind speeds are too high to comfortably duck across to a protected island bay, we’ll cancel the charter and offer a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations with less than 7 days notice, incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are non-refundable.
Should we have to cancel for any reason, you’ll be able to reschedule or get a full refund.
Is the trip suitable for children?
Children are welcome, however must be accommodated in the existing bedding configuration. We have one Queen and one Double cabin and two large lounges in the saloon area.

Is there a toilet or shower on board?
Yes we have a clean and comfortable rest room available for general guest use. We have hot showers available for guests to freshen up after a swim. The Queen cabin includes a private ensuite and the Double cabin has access to a shower and the shared toilet.
